Program Guidelines

Academic Guidelines
Detailed list of academic criteria.

  • First-time college student: Applicants should be first-generation college students, meaning they are the first in their family to attend college.

  • Low FSA scores: Students who have scored low on the Florida Standards Assessments (FSA) are eligible, indicating they need additional academic support.

  • Low grade point average (GPA): Students with a low GPA, which typically reflects academic challenges, are encouraged to apply to receive the necessary support and resources to improve their academic performance.

  • Other academic challenges: This includes students who may struggle in specific subjects or have other academic difficulties that make it unlikely for them to pursue postsecondary education without additional support.

These academic guidelines ensure that CROP focuses on students who need the most assistance to achieve their educational goals and prepare for successful entry into and completion of post-secondary education.
