In my role as the Office Manager with GNSI, I'm responsible for overseeing the daily fiscal matters for the operations within the department. I reconcile the departments monthly USF accounts to include E&G, Carry Forward, Auxiliary and Foundation. I also initiate all travel requests and process travel expense reports for my department travelers in the Archivum Travel System. I also reconcile p-card charges. Initiate and prepare expenditures transfer. My duties also include the handling of all purchasing functions and preparing purchase orders as requested. I prepare all Foundation check request to reimburse vendors, USF travelers and submit any checks deposits into our Foundation fund.

I've worked at USF for 27 years in different positions as Payroll Assistant, Program Assistant, Accountant, Fiscal Business Specialist and now Office Manager. Previously, worked at USF World as their Fiscal Business Specialist overseeing daily fiscals matters for the operations within the department.

Flash back to 10 years old: What did you want to be when you grew up?
I always wanted to be a nurse when I was a kid.

What's the most "interesting" thing you've done that not many people know about?
I came to Tampa, FL in 1988 at the age of 23 to check up on my two younger brothers and ended up staying, married my husband of 34 years and made Tampa my home for the past 37 years.

Favorite musician/genre of music?
R&B and Latin Salsa Music

Where are you originally from? What was your first job?
I grew up in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico and my first job was in a nursing home in Guaynabo.

What's your favorite sport, team, athlete or "thing" where you could be President of the Fan Club?
Roberto Enrique Clemente Walker was a Puerto Rican professional baseball player who played 18 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Pittsburgh Pirates, primarily as a right fielder.
