BIOGRAPHY:
is the William P. Harris Chair of Military History and director of the Center for Military History and Strategy at Hillsdale College. From 2018 to 2019, he served as the Director of the Office of Civilian-Military Cooperation at USAID, and previously served as the Director of the Project on Military and Diplomatic History at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, DC. Dr. Moyar is the author of eight books, of which the newest is Masters of Corruption: How the Federal Bureaucracy Sabotaged the Trump Presidency. His articles have appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, and numerous other publications. He holds a B.A. summa cum laude from Harvard and a Ph.D. from Cambridge.
