Master of Arts in Teaching
Field Experiences
Students in USF's Master of Arts in Teaching programs participate in full-time internship experiences as a student teacher in one of our area school districts. Pre-service internships are full-time, uncompensated commitments and are scheduled for one of the two last semesters.
Students who are full-time social studies teachers may complete their internship in the school of employment as a "paid internship," provided the placement meets program requirements. Students planning a paid internship must complete both the "in-service" internship application and the pre-service internship application process.
