Triparna de Vreede serves as the Director for the Behavioral AI Lab . She is an Assistant Professor in the School of Information Systems and Management. As a Director, de Vreede brings a robust blend of academic and practical expertise to the field. Her scholarly work focuses on the critical intersections of human-AI interaction, effective AI design, and AI as teammates and has been published in many top-tier journals and conferences. Her research interests extend into collaboration, crowdsourcing, people analytics, and worker well-being and performance—areas fundamental to the lab’s mission.
De Vreede's leadership is characterized by a commitment to rigorous empirical research and the ethical implications of AI technologies in business and organizational settings. Her direction ensures that the lab not only contributes to academic discourse but also develops AI applications that are both innovative and responsible.
