Undergraduate Certificate
The Undergraduate Certificate in Latin American, Caribbean and Latino Studies (LACS) is offered by the Institute for the Study of Latin America and the Caribbean (ISLAC) within the School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies. The LACS certificate is open to all USF majors in all colleges who wish to receive an intensive multi-disciplinary understanding of this region.

To apply for the certificate program or to inquire for more information please contact
the department and ask for the Academic Program Specialist.
Students interested in applying for the certificate program will need to complete
an application
questionnaire. Once all certificate course requirements have been met the Academic
Program Specialist will recommend the student for the Certificate.
The Certificate will be awarded upon the successful completion of the student's major
degree requirements and will be formally recognized on the student's academic record.
