Energy Management & Controls
Energy Management & Controls (EM&C) Department is responsible for monitoring and managing of all internal utilities meters that Facilities Management Division is responsible for on USF Tampa Campus. This includes the monitoring and billing of total consumption of utilities services provided to Auxiliary entities including electricity, chilled water, hot water, domestic water, sewage, and natural gas.
EM&C is responsible for monitoring and reimbursement of utilities services provided to Auxiliary entities; utilities include electricity, chilled water, hot water, domestic water, sewage and natural gas. EM&C is also responsible for integration and maintenance of high-end and specialty controllers for Building Automation Systems and Infrastructure equipment. Building Automation Systems include automatic controls for HVAC systems, chiller plants, hot water system and domestic water system. Infrastructure equipment include generators, electricity feeder meters, etc.
