Achievements

More than a decade ago, USF identified student success as its number one strategic goal. Through the years, USF achieved national recognition for its accomplishments in student success, including raising the six-year graduation rate significantly to 74 percent and virtually eliminating the achievement gap by race, ethnicity and income.

These achievements were accelerated by:

  • the consolidation of all student support units into a single administrative unit
  • the effective application of predictive analytics
  • the development of a case management model
  • the creation of a uniquely collaborative and caring culture.

The graphs below map our successes through the 2022-23 academic year, reflecting our established history with this unique transformative student success model.

On July 1, 2020, the three campuses of the ßÙßÇÂþ» System were consolidated and the student success model was introduced to both the St. Petersburg and Sarasota-Manatee campuses.
