The Patel College of Global Sustainability at the announces New Student Scholarships
August 2nd, 2021

The USF Patel College of Global Sustainability (PCGS) announced the establishment of the Amy & Michael Drake Student Scholarship Fund. The new scholarship is dedicated to supporting the financial needs of students applying for the Master of Science or Master of Arts degrees in Global Sustainability at the college. Sarasota-Manatee campus students applying to PCGS will be given preference.

The Patel College of Global Sustainability (PCGS) at the announced the creation of the Elizabeth Moore Fund for Global Sustainability. Elizabeth Moore’s initial gift designates the focused and impactful research at PCGS in support of its vision, which is to encourage the natural interconnections among groups on campus, by addressing ecology, economics, politics and culture.

Dr. Kebreab Ghebremichael from the Patel College of Global Sustainability at the University of South Florida was awarded a fellowship by the Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship Program to travel to Ghana to work with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and Dr. Richard Buamah on collaborative research and curriculum development for a graduate program.
