An important update on the Muma College of Business

Dear USF community,

I want to extend my sincere congratulations to the Lynn Pippenger Dean of the Muma College of Business, Moez Limayem, for his selection today by the University of North Florida’s Board of Trustees to become UNF’s president-elect.

I deeply appreciate all that Dean Limayem has contributed in the past decade to elevate business education and research at the ßÙßÇÂþ», the passionate leadership he brought to the college and his service to USF.  His ability to connect with employers and quickly shape curriculum as our world changes has led to the creation of new programs in fintech and cybersecurity, as well as the addition of majors in supply chain management and personal financial planning.  Please join me in wishing him well in his new position at UNF, pending approval from the Florida Board of Governors next month.

The Muma College of Business has generated outstanding momentum, and it’s important that we come together to help sustain it as we go forward.  The college has raised its impact and profile significantly in recent years, in large part thanks to the transformational support of Pam and Les Muma, Lynn Pippenger, the Collier family, the Bellini family, the Vinik family, Kate Tiedemann, Ellen Cotton, Monica Wooden, our corporate partners, alumni and so many other members of our community.  Through their investments in the college, and the dedication of our students, faculty, and staff, we are poised to achieve even greater success in the future.

The Muma College of Business has a strong foundation of world-class talent, which will ensure that our trajectory continues without interruption. We plan to conduct a nationwide search for a new leader who can continue this momentum of the college and our university.  In the near future, we’ll be developing our plans and we look forward to keeping you updated as more information is available.

Sincerely,

Rhea F. Law
President
