Jerome Krivanek Distinguished Teacher Award
About the Award
Any member of the ßÙßÇÂþ» community (including self-nominations) may submit documented nominations of persons holding a full-time, continuing faculty appointment at USF for the Krivanek Distinguished Teacher Award. The nominee must be currently employed at the time of the nomination deadline. If a nominee leaves ßÙßÇÂþ» service before the award is bestowed, the nomination may be administratively withdrawn.
The Krivanek Distinguished Teacher Award carries a cash award of $1,000; full-time, continuing faculty at any of the USF campuses are eligible to receive the award.
Overview of Nomination Materials
Nominations must be accompanied by comprehensive curriculum vitae, including evidence to support teaching strength. Such evidence should include student and peer evaluations, personally prepared teaching and drill aids, course syllabi, statements of teaching philosophy, descriptions of teaching techniques, histories of the accomplishments of former students, and other material that will assist the committee in evaluating the contributions of the nominee to the originality, creativity, technical proficiency, enhancement of teaching, training, and learning of students at the University.

Completed notification of nomination forms should be submitted to the Faculty Senate Office (fsenate@usf.edu) by 5:00 p.m. on December 6, 2024.
Nomination packets for all awards must be submitted in a single PDF to the Faculty Senate Office (fsenate@usf.edu) by 5:00 p.m. on January 17, 2025.
