USF – Leading the Charge in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM)! USF is pioneering AAM research and development with the acquisition of the Lift Hexa, making it the first public university to possess a full-scale manned VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) vehicle.

Aerospace Engineering Has Arrived! USF introduced an all new Aerospace Engineering minor in Fall 2024 and is now expanding its aerospace offerings, with plans to introduce bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in Aerospace Engineering effective Fall 2025!
