Andrew Fiscella, Research Assistant
Andrew Fiscella received a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from William & Mary in 2013 and his M.A. in Psychology from San Diego State University in 2016. His research interests include Alzheimer's disease, with a focus on developing new methods for early diagnosis and changes in chemosensory processes during aging. He hopes to earn his doctoral degree in either psychology or aging studies.
Bridget Budny, Research Assistant
Bridget Budny is a graduate student, pursuing a master's degree in Medical Sciences through Morsani College of Medicine. She received a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology with a minor in General Business Administration from the University of South Florida, and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Medical Sciences with a Health Sciences concentration program through the Morsani College of Medicine. She has a background in research regarding BRCA genetic testing and antimicrobial drug discovery.
Diego Fabiano, Research Assistant
Diego Fabiano is currently an undergraduate student working towards his Bachelor's degree and in the future, his Master's degree in the Department of Computer Science Engineering at the ßÙßÇÂþ». He is a research assistant through the Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program. His research includes mobile application development, artificial intelligence development, brain-computer interfaces along with human-computer interaction, and computer systems security.
Garrick Aden-Buie, Project Coordinator HomeSense Project
Garrick Aden-Buie is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering at the ßÙßÇÂþ». He received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Lehigh University in 2007. His research interests include data mining and predictive analytics for healthcare decision support systems, with a focus on patient-specific predictive models.
Joshua Tait, Research Assistant
A recent graduate from the ßÙßÇÂþ» with a B.S. in Public Health, Joshua Tait is currently a Master's student in Public Health with a concentration in Occupational Safety. Tait's time spent as a volunteer throughout his undergraduate years provided him experience in handling various demographic groups, the principles behind the National Response Framework, and how to communicate ideas between different organizations.
Mitchell Roberts, Research Site Supervisor BNA Project
Mitchell Roberts is a doctoral student in the School of Aging Studies at The University of South Florida (USF). He received a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology in 2015 from USF and a Master of Arts in Gerontology in 2017 from USF. His research interests include cognitive aging, integrating technology into healthcare delivery for older adults, and translational research with community and industry partners.
Nihat Mahser, Research Assistant
Nihat Mahser is an undergraduate student in the Department of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering at the ßÙßÇÂþ». He is also research assistant with the Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program. His research interests include sensor testing and response system validation.
Sadia A. Jeny, Research Assistant
Sadia Jeny is an international student from the South-East Asian country Bangladesh. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Sciences, and completed her minors in Biomedical Engineering and Physics from the ßÙßÇÂþ» in 2016. Currently she is aiding as a research staff for the Villages-IMSE Brain Mapping Study. Her research interests lies in Brain Aging study, Autism Spectrum, and Education. In addition, she also enjoys interacting with younger adults when she works as an STEM field educator and Outreach instructor for the Museum of science and Industry.
Sreevardhan Alluri, Research Assistant
Sreevardhan Alluri received his Master's degree in Public Health with concentration in Healthcare Organization and Management in August 2017. His research interests include public health research and innovative medicine. He strongly believes that education and experience gained through USF will make him the Healthcare professional he wants to be.
Yan Wang, Research Assistant
Yan Wang is a doctoral student in the Department of Industrial and Management System Engineering at the ßÙßÇÂþ». She received a Bachelor of Engineering in Automation from Hebei University of Science and Technology, China in 2005 and a Master of Engineering in Control Theory and Control Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University, China in 2008. Her research interests include AI, smart environments, and machine learning applications in health care.
