David C. Anchin Center for the Advancement of Teaching Operating Fund
This fund helps support the operating expenses of the David C. Anchin Center for Advancement of Teaching, in areas such as faculty travel, scholarships, and administrative expenses.
Innovative Education Fund
This fund develops and supports STEM and innovative professional development programs in the David C. Anchin Center for the Advancement of Teaching. Expenses include but are not limited to: instruction of presenting, guest speakers, supplying resources (i.e. classroom supplies), instructional materials, parking, and refreshments for related professional development events.
Tampa Bay Area Writing Project
This fund supports the Tampa Bay Area Writing Project, a nonprofit professional development organization of teachers teaching teachers about how to inspire their students to become lifelong writers. In-service sessions, young writers camps, and the Invitational Leadership Institute are the core of the organization’s work to foster life-long writers.
Teacher Leadership Academy Fund
This fund supports the Teacher Leadership Academy initiative. Funds can be used for, but are not limited to: salaries, scholarships for teachers, travel, supplies and other miscellaneous expenses related to the program.
USF Tutor-A-Bull Program
This fund supports the Tutor-a-Bull Program, a service learning project for undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the College of Education who are selected to tutor students in identified, local middle and high schools. Schools are selected by the College of Education in consultation with participating, local school districts.
