Robotics Summer Camps: 2019
Registration Now Open: Robotics Summer Camps for Grades 2-8
Give your child hands-on experience with robotics and programming this summer at the College of Education's Robotics Summer Camp! Multiple sessions are available for students in grades 2-8.
SESSION 1: Grades 2-3
Dates: June 3-7, 2019
Times: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Cost: $250 per week
Grade Levels: Students going in to Grades 2-3
Future roboticists will work with a Roamer Robot as they learn all about coding and
applying their programs to STEM-oriented engineering design projects.
SESSION 2: Grades 4-5
Dates: June 10-14, 2019
Times: 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Cost: $250 per week
Grade Levels: Students going into grades 4-5
Campers take on the role of roboticists as they build and program a VEX IQ robot. Campers will develop teamwork skills while participating in the new 2019-20 VEX IQ competition game.
SESSION 3: Grades 6-8
Dates: June 17-21, 2019
Times: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Cost: $250 per week
Grade Levels: Students going into grades 6-8
Campers will take on the role of roboticists and experience the engineering design process as they design, build, and program VEX IQ robots. Coding techniques specifically geared towards robotics will be emphasized. Students will utilize the new 2019-20 VEX IQ competition game.
Space is limited, please as soon as possible.
Note: Campers must provide their own lunch (it will not be available for purchase).
