Over the last 11 weeks, 13 students in the Summer Research Institute at the Florida Mental Health Institute (SRI@FMHI) gained experience with Institutional Review Boards practices, attended research and professional development seminars, participated in community rotations, and conducted an independent research project with guidance from a CBCS faculty mentor. Last Wednesday, each student presented their projects as part of Scholar Research Day.
SRI@FMHI is coordinated by the institute's core faculty, Kathleen Moore, PhD, and Khary Rigg, PhD. The undergraduate SRI is funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
