The Mental Health and Wellness in the Workplace Course created by College of Behavioral and Community Sciences (CBCS) faculty and staff in partnership with the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay is now included in the onboarding process for all new ßÙßÇÂþ» employees.
The Campus Mental Health & Wellness training provides an understanding of common mental health, behavioral health, and addiction issues that may be seen on campus. It guides faculty, staff, and students to methods and resources that are available on campus and in the community.
Dean Julie Serovich, PhD, along with USF Central Human Resources/Talent Development worked together to modify the seven-session, 13-hour Mental Health and Wellness in the Workplace course to a shorter version for campus training that features several CBCS faculty members.
The training is available to all ßÙßÇÂþ» employees. To access the shortened training, ßÙßÇÂþ» employees should navigate to the and search for "Campus Mental Health & Wellness." The original seven-session course is also available to all.
