Supervisor Training Curriculum
This course is designed to meet the 8 hour supervisor training requirement as described by the . Across the six modules you will acquire the knowledge and skills to effectively supervise those who deliver behavior analytic services.
COURSE FORMAT
The Supervisor Training Curriculum (2.0) consists of 6 online modules, each containing a narrated presentation, a Within Lecture Activity assignment, and a 20 question exam at the end of each module. Successful completion of the course requires sequential completion of each module and exam with at least 90% accuracy. You have 2 attempts at each exam. Failing an exam after both attempts will result in failure of the course. Upon successful completion of the course you will receive a certificate of completion.
Supervisor CREDENTIAL PROCESS
In order for you to begin supervision of BCaBAs, RBTs, and trainees pursuing certification you must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a BCBA, BCBA-D, or BCaBA credential (BCaBAs may supervise RBTs only) or be a licensed or registered psychologist certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology in Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology who was tested in Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Pass an 8-hour, competency-based training covering the BACB’s Supervisor Training Curriculum Outline 2.0 (this course).
- Upload the 8-Hour Supervisor Training certificate of completion to the BACB Gateway under the Training tab.
Once you have met the requirements for supervision, you must obtain three (3) hours of continuing education related to supervision during each certification cycle.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
- Browser: While our courses are viewable on a wide variety of browsers, Internet Explorer and Firefox work the best. Please ensure that your browser is updated to the latest version.
- Internet Connection: 56K modems will work, however due to embedded video in several courses, a broadband connection is recommended.
- Software: No specialized software is needed, however please ensure that you have the latest Adobe Flash and Shockwave players installed.
- Audio: Speakers (internal or external) or headset speakers is required.
