Peru Students Get 2 Degrees in 4 Years
During their four years of study, students attend classes at the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola in Lima. Students first earn an associate's degree from Broward College then move on to earn a USF business degree in the major of their choice. To be admitted to the USF Muma College of Business, all students must successfully complete the seven pre-requisite courses and requirements to be admitted to the Muma College of Business, which generally means all core "principles" courses (financial and managerial accounting, macroeconomics and microeconomics, a calculus course, a statistics course and business computers course) have been completed with at least a C- and GPA of 2.0 on all seven required courses. A minimum overall 2.5 is required.
Tampa Students Can Study Abroad
Stateside students from the USF Muma College of Business have the opportunity to travel to Peru to study at the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, paying the same USF tuition rate as they pay in Tampa. Students are able to live, shop, and study in Lima, Peru. Students must commit to spending at least one semester in Peru.
USF courses offered in Peru are the same courses taught at USF's Muma College of Business and are taught by business school faculty members who travel to teach the accelerated courses at USIL or to deliver courses in an online format.
