CFA University Recognition Program
USF's Bachelor of Science in Finance and Master of Science in Finance programs have been accepted into the CFA Institute University Recognition Program. This status is granted to institutions whose degree program(s) incorporate at least 70 percent of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge, which provide students with a solid grounding in the CBOK and positions them well to sit for the CFA exams.
The CFA is the most widely recognized credential in the global financial markets. This designation prepares candidates for roles related to investment management, wealth management, portfolio management, institutional trading and others.
Ethics and Standards of Practice
Students enrolling for the exam must be familiar with the Ethics and Standards of Practice. This is a vital component of the exam.
Local CFA Society
The local CFA society encourages student membership. With this membership you are entitled to all the benefits that membership has to offer including dinners, presentations, relationship building, social events, and more. To join, students must and submit the reduced $50 student membership fee.
