Master of Science in Management
Overview
The Master of Science in Management degree offers a career boost to individuals who are seeking to advance their business knowledge after completion of their under graduate degrees. Admission to the program does not require work experience. Students can expect exciting career opportunities upon graduation. There are no course specific pre-requisites, which makes it an appealing degree for professionals seeking a change in their career. There is an accelerated one-year schedule for students who want to (re)enter the workforce as soon as possible.
The diversity of course topics in the master's degree program prepares graduates to understand the complex relationships in business. Cutting edge course offerings like agile project management and people analytics equips management professionals with the methods and tools to tackle modern challenges in management and business.
The Master of Science in Management program provides project management leaders with proficiency in project management; leadership and strategic analysis; creativity and analytics; organizational behavior, decision making, design and change; collaboration; agile development and scrum methodology. The program specifically focuses on project management leadership requirements, such as facilitating teamwork in diverse groups; empowering others; recognize and adapt to the constraints and opportunities of a global economy, and develop centers of excellence.
This dynamic program provides a broad range of project management concepts and skills. The curriculum is delivered through case studies, class discussion, exercise, group project, videotaped role-playing, simulations, and prominent guest speakers from local and national business and non-profit organizations. Emphasis is placed on student participation and teamwork. All courses include writing, presentations, critical thinking, analytics and creativity.

As of February 2024, The ßÙßÇÂþ» aligned its Master of Science in Management with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates.
