As a dual-degree program, what degrees will I receive?
- MBA with a concentration in Sport Business
- MS in Sport & Entertainment Management
What standardized tests are required in order to apply? What scores are required?
All applicants must complete either the GMAT or GRE. The minimum score for the GMAT and GRE is 520 and 305, respectively.
What materials are necessary to abide by admission requirements?
How long is the program?
Two academic years including a course during the summer between the first and second year.
What is the required GPA for admissions?
3.0 is the minimum GPA required.
Can I have a full-time job while I'm in school?
Students are encouraged to focus on academics while in the program since the course schedule is too demanding to maintain a full-time position.
Can I just do the Masters of Science in Sport and Entertainment Management?
The MS in Sport and Entertainment Management is not offered independently of the MBA.
What is the fellowship program?
The entire second year in the program will be on-the-job learning with a fellowship.
Students will be placed with program partner to work as part of the staff beginning
in August following the first year until graduation.

What classes will I be taking?

What is the process after all my application materials are submitted?
All materials will be reviewed by the faculty. Select applicants will be invited to attend an on-campus interview. This interview will take place all day and will consist of interviews with current students and program directors.
How are classes structured?
All classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays and consist of professional speakers, lectures, group projects, and hands-on experiences. The MBA summer capstone class consists of meetings with professors twice each week in addition to group meetings with your team.
Do I have to have a business undergraduate degree to be considered and admitted?

Do you have graduate assistantships? How do I become a GA?
Some graduate assistantships are available; there is no formal application process. When prospective students apply to the program, they are also applying for a GA position – appointments are never on a needs-basis, but on best fit basis. To be eligible for a position, applicants must complete the application by the Dec. 31 priority deadline.
