Distinguished Alumni Award

The Muma College Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes the distinctive role Muma College PhD alumni have played and will continue to play in bringing recognition to the College, USF, and their discipline. The award will be made only to alumni who, in the judgment of the faculty, have made significant contributions via their research, service, and teaching excellence. The Muma Distinguished PhD Alumni Award will recognize superior PhD graduates and their professional accomplishments. The award will be given annually to a graduate of the USF Muma College of Business PhD program who has demonstrated distinction and success in their career as evidenced by research contributions in her/his field and professional advancement.

Outstanding PhD Student Award

The Muma College Outstanding PhD Student Award recognizes broader academic excellence, reflected in the publication of papers in UTD-24/FT-50 scholarly journals, GPA, presentation of papers at professional conferences, activity in a professional or academic association, distinctive service to the School, College, or University, and distinctive service to the PhD club or association of PhD Students.

PhD Student Excellence in Teaching Award

The Muma College PhD Student Excellence in Teaching Award recognizes superior PhD student teaching and the use of innovation in the classroom. The award is given to a current USF Muma College of Business PhD student who has demonstrated teaching excellence as evidenced by student evaluations of teaching practices, engagement measures, and learning experiences.
