Strategic Visioning and Planning

Develop the strategies needed to be proactive and turn problems into opportunities

Local governments and nonprofit organizations use strategic visioning to plan for long-term, sustainable growth and viability.

Facilitating team retreats is only part of the equation: we coordinate strategic planning sessions and task groups by utilizing our team of practitioners and ßÙßÇÂþ» School of Public Affairs Faculty.

Assessing a City's Economic Potential: Goal Setting and Visioning

We assisted the Sebring Community Redevelopment Association (CRA) and key stakeholders to determine Sebring’s full potential for growth, opportunities for current and long-term redevelopment and necessary steps for economic prosperity. To do so, we conducted a preliminary status review of the current CRA Redevelopment Plan. After determining the CRA's state, we conducted stakeholder meetings and conducted a Goal Setting & Prioritization Workshop and, in conjunction with the CRA, developed a Visioning Process for the CRA Board and the Sebring City Council.

Dunedin Task Force Identifies Paths Forward

We gathered stakeholders from across Dunedin, including officials, businesspeople, and citizens to participate. The Task Force met four times at the Dunedin Public Library over two months. These two-hour workshops provided structure to help the Task Force identify key issues facing Downtown Dunedin, find alignment around key successes, understand the action steps needed for success and prioritize the key issues.
