Vū Studios CEO Tim Moore Receives Award
Tim Moore, three-time Emmy Award-Winning Director and CEO of Vū Technologies, recently
received the inaugural Media and Communication Visionary Award presented annually
by The Zimmerman School to someone whose vision and entrepreneurial thinking have
elevated Tampa Bay as a hub of media and communication innovation and helped to inspire
creative problem solving that advances the role of media and communication in democratic
societies.
“Tim Moore is someone who is truly visionary in looking around corners to see what’s
coming next and to turn what may look like challenges into tremendous opportunities
to chart new paths forward,” said Kathy Fitzpatrick, Director of The Zimmerman School.
Vū Studios is a creative technology company for next-generation content and the
world’s largest network of virtual studios. Moore and fellow co-founder Jon Davila
established Vū’s first virtual production studio in Tampa Bay, Florida, during the
COVID-19 pandemic. Shortly after, Vū began opening virtual production studios across
the country and establishing Vū as an early leader in the growing virtual production
market. Today, Vū is home to a network of virtual studios, including the Vū Studio
at USF, which allows students to train on state-of-the art equipment and technology.
