Bio

James Libengood is a Ph.D. student in the School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies. James’ research is primarily concentrated on political theory. He holds a Masters from USF in the same department, his published thesis titled “At the Intersection of Human Agency and Technology: Genetically Modified Organisms." Outside of academia, James is a Tampa native and his paintings have been exhibited at the Tampa Museum of Art. He is fascinated by geological history, botany, and military history. He is a member of the Tampa Bay Fossil Club.
