BIO

Hi, my name is D’Amour Edwards. I am an Undergraduate Academic Advisor in the School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies. I advise Africana Studies, International Studies, and Political Science students.

My goal with each student is to understand their academic strengths, and then help them design an academic plan that builds on their unique intellectual interests, to achieve their personal and professional goals!

I received a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from The University of Florida, and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education from Florida Atlantic University.

Before working at USF, I was a Career Consultant at the FAU Career Center, assisting students with major and career exploration as well as resumes and cover letters. I also have experience working as a College and Career Advisor with Scholar Career Coaching where I assisted high school Juniors and Seniors in preparation for their after-high school options.

I am originally from South Florida and am elated to be here advising ßÙßÇÂþ» students in these interdisciplinary majors!
