The Department of Journalism and Digital Communication provides numerous scholarship opportunities to students in both the undergraduate Digital Communication and Multimedia Journalism (BA) and graduate Digital Journalism and Design (MA) programs.

THE ROBERT W. DARDENNE AWARD FOR HUMANISTIC JOURNALISM
The Robert W. Dardenne Award for Humanistic Journalism honors a dedicated journalist and beloved professor who championed people-first reporting. The award recognizes and applauds students who reflect Dr. Dardenne’s values and commitment to public service.
The Robert W. Dardenne Scholarship for Humanistic Journalism
The Robert W. Dardenne Award for Humanistic Journalism honors a dedicated journalist and beloved professor who championed people-first reporting. The scholarship supports full-time and part-time students on the ßÙßÇÂþ» St. Petersburg campus majoring in Digital Communication and Multimedia Journalism (BA) or Digital Journalism & Design (MA).
THE LEN & NANCY DEADMAN INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISM SCHOLARSHIP
Thanks to a generous gift from USF alumnus who taught marketing courses at USF for 25 years, Len Deadman and his wife, Nancy, this award recognizes journalism students focused on investigative reporting and the role of the press as a government watchdog. The typical award amount is $500 annually, renewable for up to eight semesters.
