Student Organizations

Being part of a student organization has some amazing benefits for all students. Student Organizations allow you to  be involved in some amazing campus events, gain leadership skills, connect with valuable members of the campus and local communities and helps foster an engaging and productive time as a student at USF.

For more information on how to be involved visit the Center for Leadership & Civic Engagement  or you can read more below about what organizations are and which are supported by the School of Information.

What Are Student Organizations?

Student organizations include student societies, university clubs, student clubs, and student associations. These are societies and/or organizations operated by students at the university, whose membership typically consists of only students and/or alumni. Active student organizations are student organizations that currently have student members who actively meet and plan events.

Why Join Student Organizations?

The benefits of joining student organizations include social networking, professional development, community engagement, and university involvement. Student organizations are a great way to get involved both and off campus. By joining different clubs and student organizations, you may explore your interests and connect with others on campus.
