Im/migrant Well-Being Scholar Collaborative
"The Im/migrant Well-Being Scholar Collaborative" or "The Collaborative" is a new
initiative that seeks to bridge the gap between academic research addressing im/migrant
well-being and decision makers who can mobilize those insights for policy change.
Supported by resources from the Im/migrant Well-Being Research Center at USF and the
Cisneros Leadership Institute a The George Washington University, The Collaborative
amplifies the impact of members’ scholarship through a variety of resources, including:
a peer network, specialized training and tools for translating academic work for public
and policy audiences, direct engagement with community partners, and opportunities
to present scholarship to new audiences.
The Collaborative is open to scholars from all disciplines whose work addresses aspects
of im/migrant well-being and has the potential for policy impact.
