For all incidents involving fire, explosion, or injury requiring immediate medical assistance.

Spills and Releases

All spills or releases of hazardous and/or regulated materials must be immediately reported to EH&S at 813-974-4036. Outside of normal business hours, spills and releases must be immediately reported to University Police at 813-974-2628. University Police will contact EH&S.

Power Outage Evacuation Procedure

This procedure is to be used to determine the need for evacuation of Tampa campus buildings in the event of an electrical power outage.

Building/Maintenance Emergencies

For emergency or urgent work requests, please call 974-2845 to report the problem 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Other Emergency Information

The University Police Department is dedicated to providing a safe environment for and in partnership with the community. The Department of Emergency Management coordinates activities to protect, prevent and mitigate against; respond to; and recover from disasters and emergencies affecting the University.
