The USF Health School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences recently expanded its services to the new Student Health and Wellness Center.  The expansion provides students easier access to on-campus rehabilitation options as they recover from surgeries and other types of musculoskeletal injuries.

The wellness center serves as the students’ first choice for accessible, quality health care, education, and advocacy delivered by competent and compassionate professionals.  Providers, staff, and volunteers provide quality evidence-based medical care and health education to support collegiate success and sustained wellness.

“At the USF Health School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences, we are committed to fostering the health and wellness of our students,” said Douglas Haladay, PT, DPT, PhD, MHS, associate professor and director of the School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences at the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine.  “Our expanded physical therapy services reflect our dedication to providing comprehensive care and support.  Through close collaboration with the student health program on the main USF campus, we will ensure that students have access to the highest quality of care that will promote their overall well-being.”

The wellness center is located next to the campus recreation center and Yuengling Center at
12350 USF Bull Run Drive, SWC 310, Tampa, Fla 33620.  Students can request appointments online or call (813)-974-2331.
