CSE Instructor Zachariah Beasley selected as 2020/1 STEER Scholar

CSE Instructor Zachariah Beasley, Ph.D. has been selected as a STEER Scholar for 2020/21, which comes with a $2,000 award. Dr. Beasley鈥檚 selection was based on his outstanding efforts to provide a student-centered, inclusive learning environment. 

"I am honored to be named a 2021 STEER STEM Scholar,鈥� Beasley said. 鈥淚t has been a pleasure and a passion of mine to research and implement evidence-based best practices in teaching. Ultimately, I desire to make a difference in my students' lives by providing community, communication, and active learning so that they can thrive inside and outside of the classroom." 

Beasley joined USF Computer Science and Engineering as Instructor in fall of 2020.
