Research Overview
Our mission is to address a range of fundamental and applied topics in green engineering and chemistry, sustainability in the chemical industry, systems engineering, and cleaner energy conversion processes. We utilize global computational methods including machine learning at different temporal and spatial scales, product prototyping, process piloting and experimentation for thermo-physical properties as well as governing fundamental phenomena.
Recent projects include design of environmentally friendly pathways for development of novel materials including nano-structured photo-catalysts, therapeutic particles, and energetic particles, value-added products including those that involve temperature modulation and therapeutics, efficient fuel conversion processes and additives that utilize supercritical fluids.
