Kevin Edward Antwi earned his MSW degree from the Joint Master of Social Work Program between the North Agricultural and Technical State University (NCAT) and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). Before this, Kevin earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from the University of Ghana where he was the recipient of the Inter-ministerial Coordinating Committee Prize on Decentralization for being the overall best graduating MPA student. As a PhD student, Kevin plans to focus his research on minority populations who are confronted with challenges in accessing healthcare and treatment for substance misuse. When not in classes, Kevin watches documentaries and movies and reads about the history of his ethnicity’s struggle for self-determination spanning the period before and after colonial occupation.
