Natalie Mikkelson is an Assistant Instructor and Language/Phonology Team Lead in the
USF Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is a Board Certified Specialist
in Child Language and Language Disorders. She has worked with the Bay Area Early Steps
program both as a contract and internal provider since 2010. Natalie has been employed
at since 2014, previously working in the Department of Pediatrics as a Speech-Language
Pathologist/Early Interventionist with the Bay Area Early Steps program. Currently,
Natalie
completes eligibility evaluations for the Bay Area Early Steps program, serves clients
in the
Speech-Language Clinic, as well as clients in the Bay Area Early Steps program
in the
community. She also runs a language preschool group in the Speech-Language Clinic.
Natalie’s areas of clinical interest are in the use of routines-based intervention
and
caregiver coaching in the birth-3 population
