Dr. Kim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, and the director of the Language in Aging and Stroke Rehabilitation (LASER) Lab. Her primary research interest is understanding discourse-level language production and comprehension, and their relationships with cognition and social support in adults with acquired neurogenic communication disorders. She also investigates how language is processed in the brain using functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS).
