CFS and RMHC Welcome Fulbright Scholar Dr. Ming Hung Wang
Child & Family Studies and the Rehabilitation & Mental Health Counseling Program welcome Dr. Ming Hung Wang to USF as a Fulbright Scholar. He is a professor of the Graduate Institute of Rehabilitation Counseling at National Changhua University of Education in Taiwan, and is the past-president of Taiwan Vocational Rehabilitation Association (TVRA) (2011-2014).
Dr. Wang has published more than 50 academic articles and presented at a number of international and national conferences. He currently serves on the editorial board for several professional journals in rehabilitation counseling areas, including Rehabilitation Counseling Bulletin (RCB) and Taiwan Rehabilitation Counseling. Dr. Wang’s current research interests include vocational rehabilitation, career development, and technology.
As a Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Wang will explore the latest developments and applications of technology (including AI) in rehabilitation and what the possible impacts are on the lives of individuals with disabilities. In addition, he wants to know more about how the developments and application of technology influence beliefs and thoughts of perspectives on disability.
Dr. Wang enjoys meeting and talking with people regarding the ideas they may like to share.
