Assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior, translation of basic behavioral processes to enhance clinical application, and relapse.
Dr. Paige Talhelm is a Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Applied Behavior Analysis Program in the Department of Child & Family Studies and a board-certified behavior analyst. She received her doctorate in psychology from the University of Florida and a master’s degree in applied behavior analysis from the ßÙßÇÂþ».
Dr. Talhelm also worked as a clinician and researcher at the Kennedy Krieger Institute
(KKI) Neurobehavioral Unit/Johns Hopkins Medical School. At KKI, she conducted treatment
evaluations for individuals who engaged in severe self-injurious and aggressive behavior.
Dr. Talhelm’s research interests include the assessment and treatment of severe problem
behavior, the translation of basic behavioral processes to enhance clinical application,
and relapse.
