Alyson Landeros, Adjunct Professor of Instruction in the Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling program. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Addictions Professional, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a Qualified Supervisor in the State of Florida. Alyson is also EMDR trained, Level 1.
Alyson is a 2010 graduate of USF’s Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling Program. She also earned a B.A. in Education, a M.ED. in Special Education. Prior to entering the field of counseling, she spent five years as a classroom teacher. Alyson entered the counseling field at an inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation center as a Family Program Coordinator and therapist. She also spent time at a group home for children and adolescents, along with counseling in a local preparatory school.
Alyson owns A L Counseling Group, Inc, a private practice located in Wesley Chapel. The practice works with clients ages 10- adulthood, couples, families and Registered Interns. The practice is capable of managing a host of behavioral health issues such as: maternal mental health, life transitions – struggling to adjust, first responders, other mental health providers, substance misuse, trauma and relationship issues.
