Linh Nguyen
Linh Nguyen is an international student from Vietnam. She came to the U.S. at the age of 14 on her own with the aspiration of accessing the renowned educational opportunities the country has to offer.
Nguyen's journey to discover her career path started as she took the initiative to do an internship during the summer of her junior year in high school. Upon attending USF, she found her passion for finance, prompting her to pursue a concentration in investment analysis and pick up a double major in Quantitative Economics and Econometrics.
Throughout her tenure at USF, she has received several scholarships from the university and consistently made the Dean’s List with an exceptional GPA.
This past summer, she interned in the Financial Risk Management line at KPMG in Vietnam, gaining valuable professional experience. This academic year, she flourished within the university’s esteemed Student Managed Investment Fund, assuming the role of an equity research analyst.
Currently, Nguyen is preparing for her SIE exam, benefiting from a scholarship provided by Franklin Templeton, while also gearing up for the CFA Level I exam.
