New Online MBA Program Offers a Chance for Working Professionals to Get Their Graduate Degree On Their Own Time

TAMPA (March 30, 2017) -- A new online MBA program that can enhance careers, boost salaries and make graduates the envy of all their bachelor's degree-holding friends begins this fall at the ßÙßÇÂþ»'s Muma College of Business and features a choice of concentrations depending on career aspirations.
The new program offers three fields of study that are particularly relevant in today's business world: cybersecurity, compliance, risk and anti-money laundering and data analytics.
Two informational sessions held over the next couple of weeks are scheduled to illuminate the benefits of the new online degree.
The program offers a chance to earn a graduate business degree from an AACSB-accredited program. Full-time students will need at least four semesters to complete the program, part-time students can finish all the work in three years.
Enrollees will participate in the USF Online MBA Residency Program. At the beginning of the first semester, students will attend a mandatory three-day, on-campus orientation that will allow them to network with peers, meet the faculty and visit with industry leaders. Students also will attend a mandatory three-day, on-campus visit at the end of the last semester, where they will present their final projects and attend graduation.
The online MBA program begins in the fall semester, beginning in August, and in spring semester, beginning in January. The cost is $900 per credit hour and the application deadline for the fall semester is July 1 and Nov. 1 is the deadline for applying for the spring start.
By comparison, Florida International University charges $1,000 per credit hour for its online MBA; Florida Atlantic University, $1,024 per credit hour and the University of Florida, $1,244 per credit hour.
