Seckin Ozkul on Supply Chain Pioneers Podcast
USF Assistant Professor in Supply Chain Management and Founding Director of the Supply Chain Innovation Lab, Seckin Ozkul, recently joined a podcast hosted by supply chain pioneers, delving into his current role as Assistant Professor and Founding Director of the Supply Chain Innovation Lab at the ßÙßÇÂþ»­ Muma College of Business. The conversation encompassed his passion for researching supply chain and logistics, methods of staying updated on operational developments, insights into his latest research project, and key factors that attract students to pursue supply chain management degrees at a university. The episode promises new learnings, shedding light on different facets of supply chain management.

Pharma Logistics Masterclass
Seckin Ozkul was invited to attend the third edition of the Pharma Logistics Masterclass held in Singapore, where he had the opportunity to also observe the research presentation by Mr. Chonchol Gupta, who is the CEO of Rebirth Analytics. Mr. Gupta is also an Executive PhD candidate at the University of Antwerp/Antwerp Management School. Ozkul is serving as a PhD dissertation committee member for Mr. Gupta, together with colleagues Professors Roel Gevaers and Wouter Dewulf.

CSCMP 2023

2023 Academic Research Symposium (ARS) and EDGE Supply Chain Conference
Seckin Ozkul actively participated in the CSCMP- Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals 2023 Academic Research Symposium (ARS) and EDGE Supply Chain Conference, collaborating with both academic and industry peers to generate innovative solutions for pressing global supply chain challenges. The engagement showcased a collective effort towards cutting-edge advancements. Additionally, USF undergraduate supply chain management students were integral participants in CSCMP’s #futureleaders program during EDGE. This provided them with exceptional opportunities to engage with both academics and industry leaders. We take immense pride in the achievements of our brilliant USF students!

Transportation Supersession

33rd Annual Tampa Bay Transportation Supersession
Seckin Ozkul attended the 33rd Annual Tampa Bay Transportation Supersession at Armature Works in Tampa, reconnecting with colleagues and making new connections. Ozkul, currently leading and having led numerous funded research projects for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), truly appreciates FDOT’s comprehensive transportation and supply chain vision as well as having FDOT as a major research benefactor/partner for the ßÙßÇÂþ»­ Supply Chain Innovation Lab.
