Lauren Jonas serves as the newest career counselor and coach for the Bellini Center for Talent Development within the Muma College of Business. In her role, Jonas will provide support to all undergraduate business majors, while focusing on fostering student success through career path planning and professional skill development.
Jonas is a USF alumna, having graduated in 2021 with her MBA. She has worked in the field of human resources for most of her career. She began her professional life as an hourly intern at Target and expanded into various roles within human resources in the food industry. Most recently, she served as a senior university recruiter/HRP at Gartner, a Florida employer.
Jonas has been featured as guest lecturer on the USF campus and virtually, speaking as a subject matter expert on emotional intelligence in the workplace and international human resources practices. With a passion for connecting with students to help them achieve their personal and professional goals, Jonas is excited to begin her new role working one-on-one with our undergraduate students.
Originally born, in Texas, Jonas has lived in Florida for nearly a decade and loves the sunshine and anything outdoors. She met her now-husband and fellow USF alumnus on campus in 2019 at the USF MBA orientation. They now enjoy cheering on the local sports teams, exploring parks, beaches and local breweries together with their Australian cattle dog, Rollo.
