Priya D. Dozier is an assistant professor of instruction at the Kate Tiedemann School of Business and Finance on the St. Petersburg campus.
Dozier joined USF as a full-time faculty member in Fall 2019 in the School of Information Systems and Management at the Muma College of Business. Prior to joining USF, Dozier served as vice president of digital solutions and innovation at PSCU, a credit union fintech organization in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dozier joined academia with nearly 20 years of experience in various roles in product management, product development, and business analysis in the financial services industry.
Her research interests include management, innovation, and product development. Through her research, Dozier explores the intersection of technology and decision-making through the lens of individuals, organizations, and technological forces.
Dozier earned a Doctor of Business Administration from the in 2018. Her doctoral dissertation, “Banking on Blockchain: A Grounded Theory Study of the Innovation Evaluation Process,” explored how financial services organizations explored blockchain technology. Dozier earned her MBA from the University of South Florida and her bachelor's degree in management information systems from Florida State University.
