A woman lies waist-up on the ground, her hair tied in a side ponytail. She seems to be looking at something on the ground.
Four people hold the same pose as if in mid-run. They raise their right arm, elbow bent 90 degrees, and their right leg lunges forward. All except one appear to be wearing exercise clothes. The one outlier wears a hat with two large feathers attached, and a brown vest over a white button-up, as well as knee-high heeled boots.

Sexy, embarrassing, graceful, heavy, energized, aching, youthful, and ageing: our body is our closest and yet perhaps least understood companion. What stories do today's bodies tell? And are we able to listen?

"If anything is sacred, the human body is sacred." -- Walt Whitman

"Scars are tattoos with better stories." -- Toyota Advertisement

What's Your Story?

Filter is a "ground-breaking theatre collective" (The London Evening Standard) hailed as "masters of a ramped-up culture" (The New York Times) and "famed for their sonic virtuosity" (London Guardian). They have performed across Europe and the United States and made shows for the National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company. ßÙßÇÂþ» School of Theatre & Dance is excited to have them as their 2011-12 BRIT guest artists.
