School of Music Assistant Professor Francesca Arnone named Powell Artist
Congratulations to Francesca Arnone, Assistant Professor at the ßÙßÇÂþ» School of Music on being named a Powell Artist. She was recently celebrated in Boston with a Powell Showcase and Performance followed by a meet and greet reception and a masterclass.
Professor Arnone directs the USF Flute Ensemble and coordinates a variety of USF projects designed to build community. A versatile flutist and piccoloist, Professor Arnone performs with the Sarasota Opera and Palm Beach Opera orchestras as well as other orchestras across Florida. She has been a featured guest artist at flute festivals around the country, and numerous flute conventions, including those of the National Flute Association, British Flute Society, and the International Flute Festival of Costa Rica.
