Paula Nu帽ez, USF Associate Instructor of Dance and Tampa City Ballet founder, collaborates with artists to call attention to domestic violence against women
For Tampa City Ballet founder and artistic director Paula Nu帽ez, dance should be able
to make a statement on social problems and evolve with the times.
The ballet company will do both with their upcoming presentation 鈥淐armen 2022,鈥� a
modern version of Georges Bizet鈥檚 classic that will raise awareness about domestic
violence against women and transform ballet into a multidisciplinary artistic collaboration.
