Dana Milan joined USF’s music staff in 2014, took a short break in 2020 and returned in 2024 as an accompanist for lessons and opera workshop. She has a DMA in Vocal Accompanying and Coaching from the University of Illinois, where she studied with John Wustman, a MM in Instrumental Accompanying and a Certificate in Harpsichord from Florida State University, and a BM in Piano Performance from the Catholic University of America.
Prior to USF, Dr. Milan worked at University of Tampa, Indiana University-Purdue University, and Butler University. She has also worked for many opera organizations including, Indianapolis Opera, St. Petersburg Opera, Utah Festival Opera, Dorian Opera Festival, and American Austrian Mozart Academy. She has also served as a pianist for various festivals including the International Double Reed Society, Sarasota Festival of Vocal Arts, Wildacres Flute Retreat, and Assisi Performing Arts.
Dr. Milan maintains a full private piano studio and is the organist and music director at Lutz Community Church.
