Dr. Wei Zhu received her Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from Northern Arizona University and is currently Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics in the Department of World Languages at the ßÙßÇÂþ». Dr. Zhu is a core faculty member in the M.A. program in Linguistics and the Ph.D. program in Linguistics and Applied Language Studies and also serves as the director of the M.A. Linguistics program.
Dr. Zhu’s main research areas include second language writing, writing for academic/specific purposes, and computer-mediated collaborative writing. Dr. Zhu’s work has appeared in journals such as Language Learning, TESOL Quarterly, Journal of Second Language Writing, English for Specific Purposes, Foreign Language Annals, and Language Learning and Technology. Dr. Zhu currently serves on the editorial board of Journal of Second Language Writing.
